Federal Tribal Organization CARES Act Relief Funds Available

Dear shareholders,

We are pleased to announce that we are offering Federal Tribal Organization CARES Act Relief Funds to shareholders impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Shareholders can apply online for up to $2,600 per shareholder. Goldbelt is excited to provide $11.1 million in Federal CARES Act funding directly to our shareholders.

Last Friday, Goldbelt was notified of the amount of Federal CARES Act Funds that we were set to receive following the Supreme Court’s landmark decision recognizing the role of Alaska Native Corporations as tribal entities. We're pleased that Goldbelt can finally offer this federal relief program to shareholders.

We encourage you to submit your application today, so we can get the relief funding in the hands of our shareholders as quickly as possible. In order to be eligible for the Federal CARES Act funds, applicants must be U.S. citizens, Goldbelt shareholders as of August 10, and demonstrate financial loss, necessary expenses incurred, and/or emergency economic need due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The application will close on September 30 or when funds are expended, whichever occurs first. If funds are not expended by the deadline, Goldbelt may apply those resources in an additional round.

If you are an Elder or do not have access to the internet, phone appointments are available to help you complete your application. To schedule an appointment, call Shareholder Services at 907-790-4990.
